Fraîchement champion d’Europe, Ludovic Fabregas, pivot international français, a quitté la Catalogne pour rejoindre Veszprém, géant du handball hongrois, a annoncé le club en milieu de semaine.
À Barcelone depuis 2018, son contrat a pris fin quelques jours après le sacre européen des Blaugrana face à Kielce (37-35), au cours duquel le pivot français de 26 ans a inscrit le but décisif.
Si les médias catalans laissaient sous-entendre une prolongation de contrat, Fabregas s’est bien envolé pour Veszprém en Hongrie, où il a paraphé un contrat de trois saisons dont une en option.
